Free Guide
The first step, before going out to visit residences, is to sit down and think of what is wanted or needed. To help you, Helping Seniors publishes and distributes a free guide called “The 65+ Key Questions to Ask When Looking For A Residence.” The guide provides an overview of the services and amenities offered by residences in the Montreal area, and helps families and seniors determine which services they will want or need once living in a residence. Samples of questions found in the guide:
Do you want meals included?
What is included in the cost of the rent?
What size living space do I want?
Will your educational and cultural background mix well with your future neighbours?
